Go ile ilgili cümleler: İngilizcede en sık kullanılan fiillerden biridir. Go, genellikle bir yerden başka bir yere hareket etmek anlamına gelir.

Go Fiilinin Anlamı Nedir?

İngilizcede go kelimesinin Türkçe anlamı, bağlama göre değişebilir. Genel olarak, go fiil olarak “gitmek, hareket etmek, seyahat etmek” anlamına gelir. Örneğin:

I’m going to the supermarket. Do you need anything? (Süpermarkete gidiyorum. Bir şeye ihtiyacın var mı?)
She goes jogging every morning. (O her sabah koşuya gider.)
They went to Italy for their honeymoon. (Balayı için İtalya’ya seyahat ettiler.)

Go kelimesinin İngilizce’de birçok anlamı vardır. Bazı anlamlar şunlardır:

Gitmek, hareket etmek, seyahat etmek: We went to Rome. (Roma’ya gittik.)
Ayrılmak, çıkmak: People were coming and going all the time. (İnsanlar sürekli gelip gidiyordu.)
Sürmek, devam etmek, ilerlemek: It took us an hour to go three miles. (Üç mil gitmemiz bir saat sürdü.)
Yapmak, katılmak, denemek: We go shopping every Friday night. (Her Cuma akşamı alışverişe gideriz.)
Bozulmak, kötüleşmek, çürümek: That’s gone off! (Bu bozulmuş!)
Anlaşılmak, akılda kalmak: It never seems to go in. (Hiç anlaşılmıyor gibi görünüyor.)
Saklanmak, kaybolmak, görünmez olmak: If the sun goes in, it becomes hidden from view by clouds. (Güneş giderse, bulutlar tarafından görünmez olur.)
Ölmek, vefat etmek: She went peacefully in her sleep. (Huzur içinde uykusunda gitti.)

Go Fiilinin 2. ve 3. Halleri ve İlgili Cümleler

Go fiilinin Türkçe anlamı "gitmek"tir. Bu fiil, İngilizcede sık kullanılan ve düzensiz olan bir fiildir. Bu yüzden, 2. ve 3. halleri değişiklik gösterir.

Go fiilinin 2. hali "went"tir. Bu hal, geçmiş zamanda (past tense) kullanılır. Örneğin:

I went to the library yesterday. (Dün kütüphaneye gittim.)
She went to the market with her mother. (Annesiyle pazara gitti.)
They went to the zoo last week. (Geçen hafta hayvanat bahçesine gittiler.)

Go fiilinin 3. hali "gone"dur. Bu hal, şimdiki zamanın geçmiş hali (present perfect tense) veya geçmiş zamanın geçmiş hali (past perfect tense) ile kullanılır. Örneğin:

He has gone to the airport. (Havaalanına gitmiş.)
She has gone to the dentist. (Dişçiye gitmiş.)
They had gone to the concert before we arrived. (Biz gelmeden önce konser gitmişlerdi.)
